Litauisches Kino goes Berlin

Litauisches Kino Goes Berlin is a film festival showing Lithuanian short and feature films, documentaries and notable films from the past in Berlin cinemas. It is the only festival outside Lithuania focusing on national film productions. The 16th edition runs under the motto „Kommt näher!“ and includes four award-winning Lithuanian films, a selection of excellent short films and the „Female Shorts“ series with films by women directors. It is rounded off by the special programme „Common Days. Lithuanian Home Movies, 1960–1970“ with digitized private 8-mm footage from Vilnius and a masterclass on analog 16-mm film.
