Make it and take it!

“Make it and take it! Tüfteln und Designen mit Lasercutter, 3D-Drucker & Co.” is a three-hour workshop at the Humboldt Forum where participants can get to know and try out maker space technologies. It is run by the Humboldt Forum, and this date features a sewing machine Halloween special – please bring fabric. Inspired by the venue's current exhibitions, participants can design their own graphics and objects on a laptop using Inkscape or Tinkercad, such as a statement print for an old T-shirt, a reprinted lost game piece or a self-designed stamp. The workshop is open to all levels, suitable only from age 16, and those who are skilful can take a finished product home at the end.
