May Fall: dance of longing and desire.

“May Fall” is a dance piece that, behind hypnotically billowing curtains, opens up a mysterious world of movement, longing and desire. It was created by the Italian dancer and choreographer Aristide Rontini, a founding member of the group of disabled artists and activists Al Di Qua, together with the inclusive Skånes Dansteater from Malmö. The dancers shift the perspective on pleasure, curiosity and imagination: everyday movements intertwine into situations full of longing and love, but also of friction, arising when wishes are suppressed or fail. Various relationships and storylines emerge, merge into one another and disappear again.
