A theatre evening with two readings at the first MEDUSA Festival in the Rote Salon of the Volksbühne. It features texts by Italian playwright Alessandro Paschitto (SESSO/SEXUS, translated by Carola Köhler) and the award-winning debut „aufstiegskörper. ein fühlversuch“ by Lena Riemer; Tobias Herzberg directs, with Knut Berger, Theresa Berlage, João D’Orey and Via Jikeli reading. The plays deal with social mobility, class and the body, and with gender, identity and societal expectations. Afterwards there is an audience talk with the authors and the translator.
