Middle East Meets Mittelmeer

A cooking class in German where delicacies from the Middle East and the Mediterranean are cooked. Behind it is Lisa Shoemaker, who puts her multicultural culinary background at the center and places plant-based dishes from the region in the spotlight. The menu includes roasted pepper and feta cream, besara, homemade za'atar flatbread, eggplant kuku and köfte with lemon yogurt. For those who cannot do without meat entirely, there are köfte, and she cooks with organic food, as seasonal and regional as possible.
