Rent control rules: legal seminar for landlords.

A half-day seminar for landlords and real estate professionals on the legal challenges of the rent control rules (Mietpreisbremse). It is run by the BBA Immobilienakademie, a Berlin-based training academy for the real estate industry. Topics include disclosure duties before signing a lease, exception clauses, handling objections to the rent level raised by tenants and legal-tech companies such as the Conny GmbH, as well as rent gouging and proceedings by the district offices. Participants work through practical case studies and develop strategies for their rental practice.
