"Mit Tönen durch die Zeit" is a musical journey through time for children and families through soundscapes from the Stone Age to the 19th century. Jörg Joachim Riehle leads participants to simple Stone Age melodies, festive court music, songs sung on market squares and elegant salon music of the 19th century. Along the way, instruments are explored and it is shown how music shaped people's everyday lives. The children themselves are asked: what music accompanies them today?
