About
A guided city walk for school classes aged 8 and up through the Mitte district, tracing the medieval origins of Berlin. The Mitte Museum invites participants to visit places of the city's founding together, find traces of the town wall and explore the Spree as a trade route. The route leads from the medieval fortifications via the ruin of the Franciscan monastery into the Nikolaiviertel and on to the former sister town of Cölln on the other side of the Spree. Along the way, exciting puzzles are solved with the help of Horst, the merchant, who sets out in search of his ancestors.
