About
A motet service is an evening church service at the Gedächtniskirche shaped musically by a choir. The Ensemble Memoria, the church's own chamber choir, sings under the direction of Sebastian Heindl. Liturgy and the sermon are led by General Superintendent Dr. Julia Helmke. The motet services always take place on the third Sunday evening of the month and are performed by the Memoria chamber choir or guest choirs.
