About
A choral concert in the Predigtkirche of Berlin Cathedral brings together two settings of the mass: Mozart's Große Messe in c-Moll from 1782 and Arvo Pärt's Berliner Messe from 1990. The festive mass concert is performed by the Berliner Domkantorei under the direction of cathedral conductor Adrian Büttemeier, accompanied by the Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt. The soloists are Josefine Mindus, Alice Lackner, Maximilian Vogler and Philipp Jekal. Beneath the great dome, 18th-century Catholic classics meet meditative sounds of the present.
