Bauhaus Music 2026: Abendkonzert in der St. Elisabeth-Kirche
Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung, Knesebeckstraße 1 10623 Berlin
About
The evening concert in the St. Elisabeth church is part of the two-day festival “Bauhaus Music” and looks at different paths toward the total work of art, a theme that was also important at the Bauhaus. The German Chamber Orchestra Berlin performs under the direction of Karl-Heinz Steffens, with Dorothea Röschmann appearing as soprano. The festival program of musical modernism ranges between avant-garde, classical music, experiment and jazz. Before the concert, Kai Hinrich Müller, the artistic director of “Bauhaus Music”, gives an introduction to the works.
