Multivisionsshow: Thomas Loefke-Inselwelt im Nordatlantik
Kino Union, Bölschestr. 69, 12587 Berlin, Friedrichshagen
About
A multimedia show combining music and photographs from the island world of the North Atlantic. Harpist and photographer Thomas Loefke retreats there at least once a year to compose, for example to Tory Island, the Scottish Hebrides, the Shetlands or the wild Faroe archipelago. His pieces blend influences of local traditional music with impressions of the grand coastal and island landscapes of north-west Europe. Photographs taken on the islands accompany his compositions.
