About

A public guided tour in English about Berlin's Museum Island, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. The island unites five outstanding museum buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries and the James-Simon-Galerie, which opened in 2019, into a unique ensemble. The tour is run by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (Berlin State Museums). It is dedicated to the history and architecture of the island and takes you to highlights of the Altes Museum and Neues Museum; it lasts 120 minutes, the number of participants is limited and online booking is required.
