The OECOTROPHICA-Preisverleihung 2026 is the ceremony at which the BerufsVerband Oecotrophologie e. V. (VDOE) awards the OECOTROPHICA prize to early-career researchers. The award has been given annually since 1997 to graduates of nutritional science, home economics and food science, and this marks its 30th edition. It takes place as part of the 2026 nutrition congress on food processing and aims to make the breadth of research in this field visible. Through it, the next generation of scientists is to be supported on a lasting basis.
