About
"Plateau" is an object theatre piece without spoken language for ages six and up. Theatre maker and illustrator Fran Van Gysegem, actor Milan Van Bortel and musician Visjal Auwerx, three young voices of the Flemish theatre scene, have joined forces for a poetic encounter between theatre, illustration and film. On stage a miniature world unfolds, a playground full of possibilities, which curious hands move, shape, enlarge and crush until the world becomes fuller and heavier. The result is an intimate reflection on how we treat our environment, experienced for the first time in Germany at Theater der Dinge.
