About
A concert evening with the piano-bass duo Practically Married, guesting at Alter Schwede, a long-established neighbourhood bar in Berlin's Wedding district. Practically Married are James Banner (double bass) and Declan Forde (piano), working together since 2015 both as a steady rhythm section for Berlin ensembles and as a space for their own experimental work. On this night, saxophonist Raymond MacDonald joins the duo to form a trio. From 2015 to 2024 the duo curated their own concert series at the Berlin jazz club Donau115 and have released five self-produced recordings, including the album 'Ao vivo no Café Dias' (2022).
