„Rubey & Schwarz: Das Restaurant“ is a cabaret theatre piece about two friends who decide to open a restaurant even though, together, they have four left hands. Manuel Rubey and Simon Schwarz are behind the piece and perform in it themselves; the book is by Sebastian Huber, Jürgen Marschal, Rubey and Schwarz, with direction by Huber and Marschal. When their upscale restaurant in the provinces burns down, a village policewoman investigates for arson while using the case to launch her podcast. The hunt for the firebug leads the two back into their past and to questions of whether we are all little arsonists in friendships, work and relationships.
