Slow Loris Quartet: modern jazz with the energy of rock.

SLOW LORIS QUARTET is a concert at Peppi Guggenheim Exil. Behind the project is guitarist and composer Carl Justus Kröning, joined by Christopher Lübeck on piano and synthesizer, Johannes Fricke on double bass and electric bass, and Claas Lausen on drums. In the broadest sense his music belongs to modern jazz, yet it reaches far beyond that. Chamber-music density and motivic development meet the directness and energy of rock music.
