About

»Spiralling« is a film event with a talk in the hall of the Deutsche Kinemathek. Curated by Karina Griffith and Tobias Hering, it presents, as part of the series marking the DFFB's 60th anniversary, recent student films by Florinda Frisardi, Faraz Fesharaki/Moritz Friese and Ewelina Rosińska, preceded by an early film by Raoul Peck. It asks how student films take an aesthetic stance towards a film education whose promise of professionalisation can become an obstacle to originality and a spirit of experiment. The guests are Florinda Frisardi, Sebastian Ladwig, Faraz Fesharaki, Moritz Friese and Ewelina Rosińska.
