About
„The Portal vol. 6 – Ambient Gong and Drone Listening in the Chapel“ is a two-hour sound performance inviting deep listening. Berlin-based ambient artist and producer Kimi Recor and sound art artist and composer Yasemin Vollmond perform entirely live and intuitively, responding to the room and to each other in real time. Multiple gongs, chimes, analog drones, vocal loops and layered textures fill the acoustically resonant chapel, whose space amplifies the sound into an enveloping atmosphere. Visitors are asked to bring a mat, pillow, eye mask and warm layers to get cozy.
