About
Theater Malinka performs "Däumelinchen", a play for children aged 3 and up. Its sewn puppets, created from children's drawings, tell Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale in a version set in the world of gardens. The tiny Däumelinchen keeps calling out "Ich bestimme selbst!" (I decide myself!), yet domineering characters like Fred the frog or Malte the mole keep putting obstacles in her way and testing her courage and independence. Admission is free, with advance registration.
