Tours and walks
Tandem tour: autumn and winter in paintings by Old Masters.
Unter die Lupe genommen: Herbst und Winter
About
"Unter die Lupe genommen: Herbst und Winter – Kunst und Biologie" is a tandem tour for adults at the Gemäldegalerie at the Kulturforum. Landscape planner Ursula Müller and art historian Thomas R. Hoffmann show how artists of past centuries put themes of autumn and winter into pictures, as these seasons strongly shaped the imagery of the Old Masters. The theme on this date is "Auf zur Jagd!" (Off to the Hunt!). Participation is limited and registration is recommended.
