'Verlassene Orte: Schultheiss Fabrik' is a guided tour billed as a 'Malzreise' – an exploration of 100 years of history at the former malt factory on the Malzfabrik grounds. Together with tunneltours, visitors travel from the beginnings in the 1920s to today's creative reuse: learning how malting works, discovering original machines and experiencing history up close among old brick walls. The tour lasts about 60 minutes, is held only in German, takes place in/about Berlin, and is not barrier-free. The meeting point is the gatehouse (Pförtnerhaus).
