About
The art exhibition „Blüten – Blicke – Horizonte“ presents portraits, still lifes and landscapes and opens with a vernissage that also features the musician Alisa Krawts on piano. Behind it are the two artists Anna Filimonova and Lucy Lovell, both born in Russia and living in Germany since the late 1990s. Filimonova studied architecture and painting in St. Petersburg and paints in watercolour and oils; her works show the finest nuances of colour and light. Lovell, who has been working in Germany since 1997, gained her knowledge of oil painting under Filimonova's guidance and explores the effect of colour, light and structure in paintings created in a deliberate, decelerated process.
