The exhibition Lucia Tallová brings a major solo presentation of the artist's work to PalaisPopulaire in Berlin. Deutsche Bank honors Tallová, born in Bratislava in 1985, as its „Artist of the Year“ 2026; she studied at the academy of art in Bratislava and gained international recognition in 2022 through her participation in the Biennale in Lyon. Her collages draw on photographs from old books and magazines, sometimes combined with finds such as furniture fragments and natural materials, and work at the intersection of painting, collage and installation on themes like ecology, suppressed female histories, modernity, loss and utopia.
