About
"Von der Vermessung des Schlafes" is an interdisciplinary concert project on sleep as a cultural, social and political phenomenon. Behind it are composer Peter Gahn and concert designer Anselm Dalferth, who developed the evening with Ruth Velten and the Ensemble LUX:NM. Various musical works enter into dialogue with a new composition by Gahn, inspired by scientific research, making the tensions between individual bodily rhythms, societal pressure to perform and constant availability audible and tangible. The evening is moderated by Leonie Reineke.
