600 accordions: Dieter Plinke's collection, free entry.

A touring exhibition presents a collection of 600 accordions assembled by Dieter Plinke, a Berliner, over a lifetime. The Landesmusikrat Berlin is making this unique collection visible and accessible to everyone in the “Year of the Accordion”, showing it in six shopping centres together with the Handelsverband Berlin-Brandenburg. The sixth stop, focusing on curiosities and special pieces, sits in a shop unit on the ground floor of the „das Schloss“ shopping centre in Steglitz. A varied programme of workshops, guided tours and concerts for children, young people and families accompanies the exhibition, and admission is free.
