About

An evening with the Orchestra of the Barenboim-Said Akademie conducted by Nabil Shehata at the Pierre Boulez Saal. Shehata has led the orchestra since 2024 and is closely tied to the academy as professor of double bass and a former member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. The program features Mendelssohn's 'Scottish Symphony' and Beethoven's Triple Concerto with soloists Nathalia Milstein, Mohamed Hiber and Astrig Siranossian. The concert is part of the first West-Eastern Divan Festival, initiated by Daniel Barenboim, which brings together various Berlin institutions.
