About
"Wir waren nie nur Mensch" is an exhibition at the Berlin Museum of Medical History at the Charité, presenting artistic and scientific projects. It is organised by the working group "Posthumanes, Mehr-als-Menschliches und Nicht-Menschliches" of Die Junge Akademie, which belongs to the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina. The works were created as site-specific interventions in and responses to the museum's collections, spaces and history. From artistic, scientific or both perspectives, they speculate on what it means to think about world and reality beyond a humanist and anthropocentric view.
