A public discussion on German economic policy in times of crisis such as energy price shocks, geopolitical conflicts and technological upheaval. The speakers are Jörg Rocholl, President of ESMT Berlin, and Reint Gropp, President of the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research Halle, moderated by journalist Margaret Heckel. The focus is on the economic consequences of current crises, the competitiveness and resilience of the German location, and the role of investment, innovation and fiscal policy. The audience can ask questions, admission is free with registration, and the event takes place on the ESMT campus as well as via livestream.
