The third edition of the New Economy Talks is a discussion about an economic policy meant to undercut the far right, at a time when collective bargaining coverage, working hours and social security are under pressure. It is hosted by Surplus Magazin together with the Forum New Economy; moderated by Carmen Giovanazzi, economist Isabella Weber, whose book »Antifaschistische Wirtschaftspolitik« came out in October 2026, and DGB leader Yasmin Fahimi discuss prices, wages, co-determination and the role of workers and unions in defending democracy. A get-together with light refreshments follows.
