Zeitfragengottesdienst – Kindheit und Kriegserfahrung nach 1945
Emmaus-Kirche, Onkel-Tom-Straße 80, 14169 Berlin, Zehlendorf
About
A Zeitfragengottesdienst is an evening church service in which an external speaker gives a talk on a social, religious or ethical topic, framed by song, a biblical reading and prayer. On the topic "Bauhaus-Moderne und Religion", Dr. Andreas Butter of the Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau speaks on the tension between religion and modern movements, including religious moments in artists from Walter Gropius to Bruno Taut. The illustrated lecture is followed by an invitation to questions and discussion over a cup of tea. The series is run by the congregation and offers a forum to representatives of various fields.
