Together with Swiss saxophonist David Klein and his quartet, she spans a repertoire ranging from Franz Schubert to Hildegard Knef, Cole Porter, Nick Drake, Annie Lennox, Reinhard Mey and the Beatles, completed by original compositions. The Tehran-born artist sings the title song “Shekare Ahoo” in Persian, with jazz, chanson, pop and song meeting naturally here.
