About
Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery is a major exhibition at the British Library about the life of the writer known as the Queen of Crime. It is presented in collaboration with Agatha Christie Limited and The Christie Archive Trust, with support from Great Western Railway. Visitors can walk through immersive spaces inspired by her world, from a country house and a WWI dispensary to an Orient Express-style carriage and an archaeological dig, while hunting for hidden clues. Letters, notebooks, photographs, early drafts and objects on display for the first time, including her 1937 Remington typewriter, reveal how her travels and adventures shaped characters like Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.
