About

A free museum exhibition dedicated to the artist Audrey Amiss (1933–2013), running at Wellcome Collection on Euston Road. It brings together her drawings, paintings and exhibition materials, exploring her work as both artist and campaigner who spoke out against harmful treatment within the mental health system. The show focuses on works that records suggest Amiss exhibited or intended to make public, and attempts to restage three of her solo exhibitions. Her extensive archive was donated to Wellcome Collection in 2014.
