About
An Artist in Everyday Life is a relaxed workshop about artistic practice, mental health and materials from everyday life. It is led by artist Andrea Mindel and is inspired by 'Audrey Amiss: The Surviving Exhibitions', looking at how creativity can serve as a tool in managing mental and physical wellbeing. Participants are introduced to Audrey Amiss's life and work, experiment with everyday materials such as paper, foil and plastic scraps, and create a fabric collage and visual diary to take away. All materials are provided, and attendees are invited to bring receipts, notes, wrappers, pamphlets and fabric scraps from their daily life.
