About

An Oak Tree is a theatre show in which a father who has lost his daughter in a car accident meets the stage hypnotist who was driving, when the father volunteers for the hypnotist's act. It was written by Tim Crouch, who calls each performance live with a new co-star who sees the script for the first time on stage, with no rehearsal and no safety net. The show is presented by the Olivier Award-winning producers of Fleabag, Baby Reindeer and Weather Girl. Critics have praised it, with The Guardian calling it a play that illuminates the manipulation and the wonder of the way stories transform us.
