About

'The Disappearing Man' is a stage drama with live magic, recommended for ages 14 and over, running 140 minutes. Written by the multi-award-winning Kenny Emson and directed by Alex Thorpe, it is a Queen's Theatre Hornchurch and HighTide production. Washed-up magician Bazza Cadabra returns to the once-glittering Clacton-on-Sea for a final comeback after 20 years, hoping to reclaim the spotlight and mend his fragile bond with his son. Facing a flashy young magician, a no-nonsense new manager and the family he left behind, he blurs the line between performance and reality as he risks everything for his last great trick.
