About

A hands-on workshop in the Artist Educator CPD programme, part of a professional development series for artist educators run by Bow Learning over the past ten years. Led by artist Tyreis Holder, it uses a series of exercises to explore the relationship between making and working intuitively with young people and other audiences. Participants learn how affirmation can be a starting point for creative expression through colour, fabric and thread, and how textiles can offer another route into language and finding your voice. It is open beyond the artist educator community to anyone curious about how a learning environment can complement their own practice, held in the project space upstairs at the Lakeside Centre.
