About
An evening of free improvised music titled "Bismillah, c'est les ténèbres" at Hundred Years Gallery. Four improvisers perform: Pascal Marzan on microtonal guitar, Guillaume Gargaud on guitar, Dominic Lash on double bass and Neil Metcalfe on flute. Marzan, a London-based classically trained improviser, is known for prepared-guitar sounds and flamenco technique; Gargaud is a French composer-guitarist who has played on some twenty albums; Lash runs the label Spoonhunt; Metcalfe is a ubiquitous figure on the London scene, having played with groups such as the Evan Parker Octet.
