About
Christmas with the Dickens is an intimate evening event at the Charles Dickens Museum, the London home of the young Charles Dickens and his family. It is hosted by Lucinda Dickens Hawksley, the great-great-great granddaughter of Charles Dickens, an art historian, broadcaster and author. Guests hear about the Victorian Christmas traditions her ancestor promoted, take a guided tour of the historic house, and join a ceremonial serving of Christmas pudding. The gathering ends with conversation and questions with Lucinda, and every ticket sold supports the museum's charity.
