About

A half-day practical workshop where participants create their own travel poster inspired by vintage Côte d'Azur advertising. It is led by artist Grace Holliday, who works with abstract pattern making and figurative drawing and has collaborated with clients including John Lewis and the Design Museum. Working with layers of colour and lettering, participants experiment with the graphic techniques and visual language of the iconic posters commissioned by French railway companies at the turn of the 20th century. The price includes all practical materials, light refreshments and access to the exhibition Painting the French Riviera, and participants must be 18 or over.
