Córas Trio: deconstructed Irish folk meets electronics.

Córas Trio is a Belfast-based trio whose music takes deconstructed Irish traditional melodies through otherworldly textures of fiddle, guitar, percussion and transcendental electronics. They mix collective free improvisation with seisiún-style playfulness, challenging ideas of cultural purism as part of a creative wave exploring how traditional music fits the 21st century. Their acclaimed 2024 debut album brought sold-out headline shows across Ireland, a BBC Radio 6 live session and press features from The Wire to Mojo magazine. They have supported acts such as The Olllam, Väsen and Hawktail and showcased at WOMEX Manchester 2024 and Celtic Connections 2025.
