About

Tightrope Moon is a duo whose violin, viola and vocals entwine in hypnotic melodies and celestial sounds, mixing re-imaginings of English, Swedish and American tunes with delicate compositions and ethereal improvisations. Seth Bye and Cori Smith make otherworldly yet tradition-rooted music, blending haunting vocal harmonies, pizzicato, acoustic instruments and eerie experimental electronics. Individually they have played festivals including Sidmouth, Cambridge Folk, Fire in the Mountain and Shrewsbury Folk Festival. Presented by Folk&Roots, the music starts at 8pm after doors open at 7:30pm.
