Julian Bell in conversation on his new book of paintings.

Creative Conversations | Storytelling Pictures: The Paintings of Julian Bell is an in-person evening lecture at the Royal Drawing School in Shoreditch, seating guests from 6.30pm for a 7pm start with limited tickets. It celebrates the launch of 'Storytelling Pictures: The Paintings of Julian Bell', the first book to survey Bell's paintings, written by American art writer David Carrier and published by DISTANZ. Painter Julian Bell, who has taught at the school since 2012, is in conversation with the London-based painter Matthew Krishanu, whose work is in the collections of Tate and others. The event is part of the Creative Conversations series curated by Dr Claudia Tobin and is chaired by broadcaster and journalist Bidisha, with copies of the book available to purchase.
