About
Dalston Song Club is a monthly series bringing together prominent voices in contemporary songwriting, hosted by Matthew Herd, with this instalment forming a London Jazz Festival special. This month's guest is Lily Lyons, a singer-songwriter raised between London and Somerset who blends tender folk influences with emotionally incisive songwriting inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake and Big Thief. Her debut album, "Re-Open the World", was released in 2025 to universal acclaim, followed by a live album recorded at St Matthias Church in Dalston. The evening features one set of music, with doors before the performance.
