About
A song recital at Wigmore Hall pairing a celebrated mezzo-soprano with a Lieder pianist. Dame Sarah Connolly and Joseph Middleton, longtime duo partners known for a near-telepathic musical understanding, perform songs by Brahms, Webern, Debussy, Schoeck and Korngold. The programme includes treasures from Brahms's Op. 57 collection and the hauntingly beautiful Late Romanticism of Webern's Early Songs. The concert runs approximately two hours including an interval.
