Edward Abbiati

A live rock and roll night featuring Edward Abbiati & The Rattling Chains from Italy, with support from Red Hash. Ed Abbiati, formerly of the Americana band Lowlands, leads his latest outfit, adding horns to his high energy rock'n'roll songs, with comparisons drawn to Springsteen, Petty, Seeger and sometimes the Pogues. The band play heartfelt, honest music built on years of shared shows and albums, favouring fun and raucous energy over perfection. Opening act Red Hash, fronted by songwriters Tomas Peters and Sam Barker, blend melodic but hard hitting 60s and 70s rock and roll with folk influences.
