Evening Prayer is a simple, short spoken service lasting around 20 minutes. It is held by St Paul's Cathedral on days when there is no choir, and today's service takes place at the Church of St Martin on Ludgate Hill. The congregation joins in saying the words of the service, including a psalm, with Bible readings and prayers for the Church, the World and ourselves, and no music or sermon. An easy-to-follow order of service is available to pick up on entering.
