About

Gothic Type is an evening of four separate plays with a dark gothic feel, ranging from Hamlet to Dante's Inferno. It is staged by Chiswick School Performing Arts, a multi award-winning department, bringing together around 60 students from year 7 up in their first big production of the year. The pieces are Sghoul, the story of the Pendle witches; a new adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet; Jekyll and Hyde told as a camp fire tale; and a full narrative dance retelling of Dante's Inferno. The running time is approximately 2 hours.
